An easy cooking recipes to prepare a yummy Chinese meal.

Recipe beef stir fried and onion sauce


  • 2 tbsp oil

  • 2 tbsp light Soy sauce

  • 2 tbsp Oyster sauce

  • 1/2 tbsp dark Soy sauce

  • 1 tbsp brown Sugar

  • 2 tbsp dry sherry

  • 1 tsp cornstarch

  • 1/4 tsp sesame oil


  • 300g of Beef tenderloin

  • 1/2 Onion

  • 2 Garlic cloves

  • 2 Spring onion

  • 2 tbsp of Water


Step 1

Cut the beef in small cubes.

Step 2

Prepare the marinade in a large bowl. Mix 2 tbsp of soy sauce, 1 tbsp of dry sherry, 1 tsp of cornstarch and 1/4 tsp of sesame oil. Put the beef, stir well and set aside at room temperature for 10-15min.

Step 3

Meanwhile slice the spring onions (2), chop the onion (1/2) and crush the garlic cloves (2).

Step 4

Prepare the sauce by combining the oyster sauce (2 tbsp), dark soy sauce (1/2 tbsp), brown sugar (1 tbsp), dry sherry (1 tbsp).

Step 5

Heat your wok or deep-pan with the oil (2 tbsp) at medium high heat. Once hot, stir-fry the crushed garlics (2) and sliced onion (1/2) for 5-7 minutes until the onions are tender.

Step 6

Remove the vegetables from the wok and add the beef. Let it stir-fry for about 8 minutes.

Step 7

To make some gravy, add the water (2 tbsp) in the wok, put back the onions and garlic and mix well.

Step 8

Add the sauce and the spring onion and let it cook for 2-3 minutes. And it's done.

You can serve with rice or ther vegetables like green beans. It's up to you :)
